Louth County Council Welcomes Additional Funding for Ardee Castle

Louth County Council welcomes the additional allocation of €1 million from the Rural Regeneration Development Fund (RRDF) to support the regeneration of Ardee Castle.

This latest funding brings the total investment from the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht to €3,147,000.

Louth County Council has also committed match funding to ensure the successful delivery of this important heritage project.

The council will now look to complete the tendering process for construction, with a view to appointing a contractor and commencing works in the near future.
