This project aims to establish an ex-political prisoner Irish Language engagement programme with the wider community in Co Louth and engage with the Ulster Scots language community in Northern Ireland to explore the richness of both languages on a cross-border basis with the objective of enhancing mutual understanding and respect. The activity project will enable 30 people with 8 hours of meaningful and purposeful engagement to engage in sustained cross community activities to facilitate greater integration of the ex-political prisoner community with non-Irish speakers over a 2-year period.
