Tackling the Housing Crisis in County Louth
Rebuilding Ireland was launched by the Department of Housing, Planning & Local Government 2016.
It is a comprehensive action plan to address housing and homelessness and includes a comprehensive 5 pillar approach to delivery:

Ravel Grange Dunleer Co Louth
There is a new PPP development of 80 dwellings currently being constructed in Dunleer.
A number of units are specifically for allocation to applicants in the disability category and OPD's.
32 x 2 bed units, 35 x 3 bed units, and 2 x 4 bed units will all be advertised on Choice Based Lettings (CBL) .
These units will be advertised in December 2019 with allocations proposed for April 2020.
Cox's Demesne Dundalk Co Louth
Louth County Council have received Stage 4 funding approval from the Department of Housing for 22 new residential units in Cox's Demesne, Dundalk.
The new homes which will be built as part of the Coxes Demesne Regeneration Phase 2B in Q1 2021 will be a mixture of :
- 4 two storey 3 bed units
- 2 two storey 4 bed units
- 2 single storey 2 bed units
- 14 apartments comprising 6 one bed units and 8 two bed units
The homes will cater for those on the housing waiting list in the County.
