Form of Declaration of Result of Local Government Business Improvement District Ratepayer Plebiscite 2024

A plebiscite of the ratepayers was held to determine the level of support among ratepayers of rateable property within the proposed BID area for the proposal (received from the Drogheda Business Improvement District CLG) to extend the Business Improvement District (BID) Scheme, for a period of five years to 31st December 2029. The result of the said plebiscite is as follows:

The proposed Business Improvement District Scheme will be considered by the members of Louth County Council at the October Council meeting.  If the scheme is approved by the members of Louth County Council, the extension of the Scheme will come into force on 1st January 2025.
