Ardee Shines as Cultural Capital for a Day at Taste of all Nations

People from far and wide descended on Ardee on Saturday, June 7th, for the highly anticipated Taste of all Nations event – a vibrant celebration of food, culture and diversity.

With the sun shining and the town buzzing with energy, the event was hailed as a resounding success by organisers, participants, and visitors alike.

Hosted in the heart of Ardee, Taste of all Nations brought together some of the county’s local food heroes for a day of delicious discovery. Attendees sampled an extraordinary range of dishes and products, from traditional dishes to bold global flavours – all made with the freshest ingredients.

Highlights included live dance performances, a circus act for children, face painting, music and a bustling food market that showcased the best of Louth and beyond. Family entertainment and community performances added to the festive atmosphere.

Event organiser Robert Byrnes, Integration Support Coordinator with Louth County Council, said: “We were absolutely thrilled with the turnout and the incredible support from the local community and visitors from across the county. Ardee truly became a stage for a vibrant and diverse collection of nations, and we’re already looking forward to making next year’s event even bigger.”

Taste of all Nations was supported by Hands4Unity, Louth County Council, Healthy Ireland, Louth Local Development Company and Louth Volunteer Centre.
