Age Friendly Sportsday in Sport Ireland Campus

Age Friendly Louth were delighted to attend a taster sports day organised by Age Friendly Ireland in the Sport Ireland Campus, Blanchardstown.

Participants from Drogheda & Dundalk were treated to an array of activities ranging from walking football to yoga. A well attended event with over 100 people in attendance from 16 different counties, participants got a warm welcome and introduction from AF National Programme Manager Emer Coveney, Director of Participation for Sport Ireland Louise Burke and Roscommon OPC chairman Paddy Joe Burke.

With refreshments served throughout the day and goodie bags on offer, all participants thoroughly enjoyed their day. A special thanks to AF Ireland for the invite on a very successful day.
