Spring Clean Weekend 4th, 5th, 6th March 2022

DROGHEDA SPRING CLEAN WEEKEND A GREAT SUCCESS

Thanks to everyone who took part in the Drogheda Spring Clean Weekend, over 40 groups took part, covering a large part of the town and surrounding areas. There was approximately 425 bags of rubbish collected.

We would especially like to thank  V & W Recycling who also took part in this initiative, facilitating groups to pick up supplies from their Drogheda centre.

The event which was co-ordinated between Louth and Meath County Council. Groups that took part included: Drogheda Tidy Towns; Drogheda Chamber of Commerce; Love Drogheda BIDS; Drogheda Institute of Further Education;  Monasterboice Tidy Towns; St Olivers Community School; Five Oaks RA; Monasterboice Girl Guides; Louth Volunteers; Millmount Girl Guides; O'Raghallaighs; Moneymore Group; Aston Village RA; Medical Missionaries of Mary and numerous other smaller community and voluntary groups & individuals
