Temporary Road Closures & Infrastructure Works (2025–2026)
Louth County Council has announced a schedule of temporary road closures across the county between 4th June 2025 and 4th June 2026.
These closures, lasting no more than five days each, are necessary to facilitate Road Strengthening, Road Resurfacing, and Road Safety Improvement Works.
To ensure public safety and maintain traffic flow, diversion routes will be signposted.
Additionally, a Road Works Speed Limit Order will be in effect under Section 10(1) of the Road Traffic Act 2004. A temporary speed limit of 50kph will apply on specific road sections involved in the works.
