Temporary Road Closure: Mount Avenue, Dundalk

Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to temporarily close the below section of Mount Avenue to facilitate the construction of new ESB infrastructure.

Location: L-20018-80 Mount Avenue, Dundalk – from the junction with Castletown Road (R-934-0) to the junction with Carrickmacross Road (R-178-1)
When: Monday 18th August to Friday 12th September 2025

Diversions for traffic will be via R-934-0 Castletown Road, L-2000-540 Ard Easmuinn and R-178-1 Carrickmacross Road and in the opposite direction.

Local access and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
