Temporary Closure of Road - Shore Road, Omeath.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

Section 75 Roads Act, 1993

(Roads Regulations 1994)

Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to close;

Shore Road, Knocknagoran in Omeath to vehicular traffic to facilitate the completion of the new Wastewater Treatment Plant and Pumping Station as part of the Omeath Sewerage Scheme.

The extent of the road closure will be from the junction with Station Road along its extent to privately owned Road Clocha Tra. The works involve constructing all associated infrastructure for the New Wastewater Treatment Plant and Pumping Station.

The road closure will be completed in sections no longer than 80m along its extent, for a duration not more than three weeks combined in the period from 7.00am on Monday 28th November to 6:30pm on Friday 16th December 2022.

Local access will be maintained at all times.

Diversions for traffic will be via Station Road, R173 and Clocha Tra.

Any person who wishes to object to any of the closures should lodge an objection in writing (envelope clearly marked “Road Closure Objection”) to the undersigned not later than 4 pm on Friday 4th November 2022.
