TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

Section 75 Roads Act, 1993

(Roads Regulations 1994)

 

 Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its decision to close;

 National Secondary Road, N51, Drogheda to Slane Road to vehicular traffic to facilitate road resurfacing works.

 Diversions will be via as follows: -

 

  • Eastbound route from Slane to Drogheda – Northwards along National Secondary Road N2 from Slane to Collon, then take Regional Road R168 from Collon to M1 Mell Interchange in Drogheda.
  • Alternative Westbound route from Drogheda to Slane – Above route in reverse.

 

The road closure will be 5 days only from 8am to 5pm between Monday the 17th October to Friday the 5th November 2022.

 

 Local access will be maintained at all times.

 Emergency Services will be facilitated.
