Status Yellow Weather Warning: January 26th

A Status Yellow Wind Warning for Louth is in place until 6pm on Sunday, 26th January.

During this time, mean winds are expected to reach 55-65km/h with gusts up to 90-110km/h.

These winds may cause further damage to already weakened structures and trees which were impacted during Storm Éowyn and will result in dangerous travelling conditions.

Louth County Council crews have been working across the weekend to clear trees and debris caused by Storm Éowyn.

Elevated tidal levels are expected in coastal areas, especially around tomorrow’s (Monday) high tide at circa 10am.
