National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day 2025

Louth County Council buildings will go green on Tuesday 25th March to support National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day.

Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day was created in 2012 to highlight people's experiences with CP and to raise awareness and encourage action to improve access, care, and research.

Cerebral Palsy affects movement, muscle strength and coordination and can impact individuals in different ways.

According to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, CP affects around 12,500 people in Ireland and 50 million people globally and is the most common childhood-acquired lifelong physical disability.
