The Alzheimer Society of Ireland Mobile Information Unit: In support of Alzheimer's Awareness Month, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland will visit Dundalk Library with their Mobile Information Unit on Tuesday 8th September between 11:30am-2:00pm. This is a great opportunity to meet the new Louth Dementia Advisor, Stephanie McArdle, who will be available to provide information, guidance, and support to people living with dementia and their families. All welcome, there is no booking required.
Dundalk Memory Café: The Memory Café is resuming its monthly meetings in Dundalk Library on Tuesday 8th September at 2:30pm. The Guest Speaker will be the Community Garda - Garda Darragh Prior. He will cover the new Herbert Protocol which focuses on individuals with dementia who go missing. He will also discuss topics on Personal and Home Security. All welcome, there is no booking required.
Passport to Europe: Join artist Tarsila Krüse and writer Juliette Saumande for “Passport to Europe” and explore how Europe connects us! Participants will write their own poems, design stamps, and create their own passport. Taking place in Dundalk Library on Saturday 12th September at 11:00am. Suitable for children aged 9+ and all must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. Places are limited and booking is essential. Culture Night with David Keenan: Join us in Dundalk Library on Friday 18th September at 6:30pm-8:30pm for a special Culture Night performance by acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter David Keenan alongside Brendan McCreanor and Tadhg Mulligan. The evening will bring together original songs, traditional influences and storytelling in an intimate setting, celebrating the strength and diversity of contemporary Irish music. eServices Demonstration: Learn how to use our full suite of eServices with help from staff on the last Friday of every month from 11:00am-12:00pm. These eServices can be found HERE
Family Carers Support Group: All family carers and former carers are welcome to join our monthly support group meeting! Taking place in Dundalk Library on the last Wednesday of every month at 10:30am-12:00pm. Our monthly support group is aimed at giving you a break from your caring routine and a chance to meet others who understand, offering open discussion, support and an opportunity to make friends. No booking required. All are welcome to attend.

Irish Language Group: Intermediate level - Every Tuesday at 4:00pm.
Memory Café: Join us on the second Tuesday of every month at 2:30pm-3:30pm for a social afternoon of tea, chat and information! The Café is a warm and welcoming place for people to come and meet others also living with Dementia / Alzheimer’s. Carers, family and friends are all welcome, there is no booking required. Mindful Colouring Group for Adults: Join us for a relaxed and relaxing colouring group in Dundalk Library every Wednesday at 3:00pm. Colouring is a simple activity that has a myriad of benefits – relaxation, clarity, focus etc. No booking required.
