Film Screenings at Ardee Library - All welcome to attend, there is no booking required.

Summer Stars Storytime: Celebrate Summer Stars in Ardee Library and join us for a Celtic Myths and Legends inspired Storytime on Thursday 13th August at 3:30pm. Suitable for children aged 3-8 years and all must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. All are welcome to attend, there is no booking required.

Domestic Abuse Drop-In Clinic: Ardee Library is pleased to host a series of Drop-In Information Clinics for Drogheda Women's & Children's Refuge Centre C.L.G. The clinic will take place on Friday 14th August from 10:30am-12:30pm. This is an opportunity to learn about the services, support and resources available through Drogheda Women's Refugee in a welcoming, safe and confidential setting. There is no appointment is necessary - simply drop in and speak to a member of the team.

Little Library Book Bag event with The Mobile Music School: Join the Mobile Music School for a musical Little Library Book Bag event in Ardee Library on Tuesday 18th August at 10:15am. This fun filled, activity-based music session explores the world of music-making and is aimed at children starting school this September. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. Places are limited and booking is essential. My Little Library Bag Storytelling: Join us for a My Little Library Bag Storytime in Ardee Library on Wednesday 26th August at 3:30pm. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. All are welcome to attend, there is no booking required. Little Library Book Bag event with Milo Mouse: Join Sarah Gilbert for a fun and interactive event for parents and children starting school this year. Taking place in Ardee Library on Friday 28th August at 2:30pm. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. Places are limited and booking is essential. "50 Years: Ireland & The EU": Join broadcaster and author David McCullagh for "50 Years: Ireland & The EU". A timely talk on Ireland’s relations with the EU, the UK - and how 50 years of EU membership has changed us. Taking place in Ardee Library on Saturday 29th August at 11:00am. Adult Book Club: Monthly meeting on the fourth Thursday of every month.

Board Games Club for Adults: Fancy honing your Chess skills? Maybe Draughts is more your thing? Why not give Scrabble a go? All welcome to attend the Ardee Library Board Games Club every Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm. Bring a friend or meet new people for a chat while playing your favourite board game.

Conversational Irish: Conversational Irish for Beginners is held every Thursday morning at 10:30am-12:30pm. Suitable for those with a cúpla focal. All welcome – children must be accompanied by an adult. Peer led learning- all you need is a desire to speak as Gaeilge!

 eServices Demonstration: Learn how to use our full suite of eServices with help from staff on the last Friday of every month from 10:30am-11:30am. These eServices can be found HERE

Film Screenings at Ardee Library: Ardee Library will be hosting film screenings every Tuesday afternoon at 2:15pm. 

Knitting and Crochet Group: If you’ve a passion for knitting and crochet then come and join our group, meeting every Thursday at 2:30pm-4:30pm throughout the month. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. No need to book, all welcome to attend.

Louth Volunteers: Drop in, every second Thursday from 10:00am-1:00pm.

Parent and Toddler Group: Held every Wednesday morning at 10:30am to 12:30pm. The Ardee Parent and Toddler Group welcomes you to join in the fun. No need to book, just turn up on the day. All welcome to attend. 

Storytime and Colouring Club: Ardee Library Picture Book Storytime and Colouring Club will continue to meet throughout the month. All welcome to attend, places are limited and booking is essential. Please contact Ardee Library on 041-6859023 for further details.

Tapestry Group: Wednesdays from 2:00pm.
