Summer Stars Certificate Collection: Celebrate the end of Summer Stars in Ardee Library and call in to collect your certificate of completion. Taking place on Saturday 5th September at 3:00pm. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. All are welcome to attend, there is no booking required.

Gruffalo Family Storytime: To celebrate the release of 'Gruffalo Granny' join us in Ardee Library for a wild walk back into the deep dark wood to visit the whole Gruffalo family! Taking place on Saturday 12th September at 11:00am. Suitable for children starting school and all must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. Passport to Europe: Join artist Tarsila Krüse and writer Juliette Saumande for “Passport to Europe” and explore how Europe connects us! Participants will write their own poems, design stamps, and create their own passport. Taking place in Ardee Library on Saturday 12th September at 3:00pm. Suitable for children aged 9+ and all must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. Places are limited and booking is essential. Domestic Abuse Drop-In Clinic: Ardee Library is pleased to host a series of Drop-In Information Clinics for Drogheda Women's & Children's Refuge Centre C.L.G. The clinic will take place on Friday 18th September from 10:30am-12:30pm. This is an opportunity to learn about the services, support and resources available through Drogheda Women's Refugee in a welcoming, safe and confidential setting. There is no appointment is necessary - simply drop in and speak to a member of the team.

Culture Night with the Ardee Uke and Rollers: Join us in Ardee Library on Friday 18th September at 3:30pm for a special Culture Night performance by the much-loved Ardee Uke and Rollers. Sit back, relax, and enjoy an afternoon of lively music, familiar tunes, and great community spirit as this talented local group brings their unique ukulele sound to the library. Adult Book Club: Monthly meeting on the fourth Thursday of every month.

Board Games Club for Adults: Fancy honing your Chess skills? Maybe Draughts is more your thing? Why not give Scrabble a go? All welcome to attend the Ardee Library Board Games Club every Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm. Bring a friend or meet new people for a chat while playing your favourite board game.

Conversational Irish: Conversational Irish for Beginners is held every Thursday morning at 10:30am-12:30pm. Suitable for those with a cúpla focal. All welcome – children must be accompanied by an adult. Peer led learning- all you need is a desire to speak as Gaeilge!

 eServices Demonstration: Learn how to use our full suite of eServices with help from staff on the last Friday of every month from 10:30am-11:30am. These eServices can be found HERE

Film Screenings in Ardee Library: Ardee Library will be hosting film screenings every Tuesday afternoon at 2:15pm. 

Knitting and Crochet Group: If you’ve a passion for knitting and crochet then come and join our group, meeting every Thursday at 2:30pm-4:30pm throughout the month. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. No need to book, all welcome to attend.

Louth Volunteers: Drop in, every second Thursday from 10:00am-1:00pm.

Parent and Toddler Group: Held every Wednesday morning at 10:30am to 12:30pm. The Ardee Parent and Toddler Group welcomes you to join in the fun. No need to book, just turn up on the day. All welcome to attend. 

Storytime and Colouring Club: Ardee Library Picture Book Storytime and Colouring Club will continue to meet throughout the month. All welcome to attend, places are limited and booking is essential. Please contact Ardee Library on 041-6859023 for further details.
