Teddy Bear’s Picnic Storytelling: Join us for a fun-filled storytelling session to Ardee Library on Saturday 4th July at 11:00am. Recommended for children aged 3-8 years and all must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. Dinosaur Pie and Comics with Alan O’Rourke: Join us in Ardee Library on Wednesday 8th July at 3:00pm for a fun-filled comics session designed especially for children aged 7-10 years. From character design and panel layout to timing, kids will unleash their creativity while honing their drawing and writing skills. In this hands-on session, young artists will learn the art of storytelling through three-panel comics. For fans of Dog Man and Bunny Vs Monkey. Children are to bring their favourite Joke, story or pick one on the day and we will turn it into a comic. Places are limited and booking is essential. Domestic Abuse Drop-In Clinic: Ardee Library is pleased to host a series of Drop-In Information Clinics for Drogheda Women's & Children's Refuge Centre C.L.G. The first clinic will take place on Friday 10th July from 10:30am-12:30pm. This is an opportunity to learn about the services, support and resources available through Drogheda Women's Refugee in a welcoming, safe and confidential setting. There is no appointment is necessary - simply drop in and speak to a member of the team.

Board Games Club for Adults: Fancy honing your Chess skills? Maybe Draughts is more your thing? Why not give Scrabble a go? All welcome to attend the Ardee Library Board Games Club every Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm. Bring a friend or meet new people for a chat while playing your favourite board game.
Conversational Irish: Conversational Irish for Beginners is held every Thursday morning at 10:30am-12:30pm. Suitable for those with a cúpla focal. All welcome – children must be accompanied by an adult. Peer led learning- all you need is a desire to speak as Gaeilge!
eServices Demonstration: Learn how to use our full suite of eServices with help from staff on the last Friday of every month from 10:30am-11:30am. These eServices can be found HERE

Knitting and Crochet Group: If you’ve a passion for knitting and crochet then come and join our group, meeting every Thursday at 2:30pm-4:30pm throughout the month. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. No need to book, all welcome to attend.
Louth Volunteers: Drop in, every second Thursday from 10:00am-1:00pm.
Parent and Toddler Group: Held every Wednesday morning at 10:30am to 12:30pm. The Ardee Parent and Toddler Group welcomes you to join in the fun. No need to book, just turn up on the day. All welcome to attend.
