Brigid Cloak

The students of St. Brigids School worked extensively with artist Shauna Swords from November 2022 until May 2023 to create a life size Brigid Cloak made out of individual, hand stencilled copper foil circles. The cloak launched in Dundalk library and moved to Ardee and Drogheda libraries for a 9 week long exhibition following that. The cloak has also been exhibited during the Brigid1500 exhibition as part of the 2024 Brigid1500 festival and was exhibited again in 2026 in the Museum during St Brigids Day festival weekend.
