Summary of Social Housing Assessments 2021
PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE IF YOU ARE AN APPLICANT ON THE SOCIAL HOUSING WAITING LIST IN COUNTY LOUTH
The Housing Assessments Unit of Louth County Council will shortly commence a Summary of Social Housing Assessments in accordance with Section 21 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2009.
What is a Summary of Social Housing Assessments (SSHA)?
How will Louth County Council contact relevant applicants?
Louth County Council will write to the relevant applicants that were qualified on the social housing waiting list within the timeframe noted above. Households that have been included on a Council Transfer List and those in accommodation provided under RAS or HAP will not be required to update their files and, therefore, will not receive any correspondence in this regard.

When and where should I submit the information?
The completed form and all relevant supporting documentation must be returned to Louth County Council at one of the following four locations before 5 pm on Friday, 8th October 2021:
Civic Offices, Fair Street, Drogheda, Co Louth A92 P440
Millennium Centre, County Hall, Dundalk, Co Louth A91 KFW6
Town Hall, Crowe Street, Dundalk, Co Louth A91 W20C
Mid Louth Civic Services Centre, Fair Green, Ardee, Co Louth A92 RYT2
What will happen if I do not return the information requested?

All future lettings of social housing units will be made from this assessment. Therefore, it is essential that applicants who are contacted by Louth County Council in relation to the Summary of Social Housing Assessments 2021 return completed forms and all supporting documentation before 5 pm on Friday, 8th October 2021.
