Review of Housing Estates Speed Limit Bye-Laws

LOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL
HOUSING ESTATES SPEED LIMIT BYE-LAWS
Louth County Council proposes to the review the above named Bye-Laws and are seeking submissions from Residents Associations/Community Groups regarding the adequacy or otherwise of the existing speed limits in their Housing Estate.
In order to ensure that housing estate roads are as safe as possible for pedestrians, cyclists and children, the Council would particularly welcome submissions in relation to the possible introduction of a 30km/h speed limit in their estate.
Please Note: The Housing Estate must be already taken in charge by the Council.
Submissions may be made in writing to the undersigned before 12.00 noon on Tuesday, 10th August 2021.
