Commencement of Part 4 of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (as amended)

The DHLGH have indicated that Part 4 of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (as amended) relating to Development Consents is due to commence over the coming weeks.

The finalised version of the draft regulations supporting the commencement of Part 4 of the 2024 Act may be viewed here. These draft regulations set out the procedures for making a planning application under the 2024 Act.

Please keep an eye on the Council’s website for further information over the coming days as well as new templates for application forms, site notices and forms for making a submission or observation in respect of a planning application.
