This was developed by a National Working Group on citizen engagement which advocated the development of a Public Participation Network

This model, known as the Public Participation Network, replaced the Community & Voluntary Forum and will be modelled on the Municipal District Structure.

All voluntary bodies are currently being requested to align themselves to Municipal Districts and also to equally declare themselves in one of the following colleges: Voluntary, Environment or Social Inclusion.
