Clár Funding Scheme 2019
Clár is a targeted investment programme for rural areas that aims to provide funding for small infrastructural projects in areas that experience disadvantage. The following District Electoral Divisions (DED’s) are eligible for consideration for funding support: Ballymascanlon, Carlingford, Drummullagh, Greenore, Jenkinstown, Rathcor and Ravensdale.
Measure 1: Support for Schools/Community Safety Measures
Measure 2: Support for Play Areas (including MUGA’s)
Measure 3(c): Sensory Gardens
The Council wish to receive completed application forms from Community Groups and local schools.
Application forms should be returned to Patrice Keenan, Clár 2019 Applications, Community Section, Louth County Council, County Hall, Dundalk, Co Louth or by email to patrice.keenan@louthcoco.ie
Closing date for receipt of application forms is 4pm Friday 12th April 2019. Applications will not be considered after this date.

Measure 3(a): First Response Support
Applications under Measure 3(a) of the Clár Funding Scheme 2019 will be accepted directly by the Department from established organisations/groups that operate entirely on a voluntary basis, and are involved in emergency rescue/first response efforts.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications under Measure 3(a) is the 25th of April 2019. Application will not be considered after this date.

Measure 3(b): Mobility and Cancer Care Transport
Applications under Measure 3(b) of the Clár Funding Scheme 2019 will be accepted directly by the Department from established organisations/groups that operate entirely on a voluntary basis, and are involved in the provision of transport services, free of charge, to persons requiring wheelchair accessible vehicles to access day care/other medical/therapy/respite services and/or those requiring transport to/from hospitals for treatments under the National Cancer Care Programme.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications under Measure 3(b) is the 25th of April 2019. Application will not be considered after this date.
