Clár Funding Scheme 2018
Clár is a targeted investment programme for rural areas that aims to provide funding for small infrastructural projects in areas that experience disadvantage. The following District Electoral Divisions (DED’s) are eligible for consideration for funding support: Ballymascanlon, Carlingford, Drummullagh, Greenore, Jenkinstown, Rathcor and Ravensdale.
Measure 1: Support for Schools/Community Safety Measures
Measure 2: Support for Play Areas (including MUGA’s)
The Council wish to receive Expressions of Interest (EOI’s), a one page proposal including costings, from Community Groups and local schools.
Expression of interest (EOI) should be returned to Patrice Keenan, Clár 2018 Applications, Community Section, Louth County Council, County Hall, Dundalk, Co Louth.
Closing date for receipt of EOI’s is 4pm Friday 13th April 2018. EOI’s will not be considered after this date.

Measure 3: First Response Support Measure
Applications under Measure 3 of the Clár Funding Scheme 2018 will be accepted directly by the Department from established organisations/groups that operate entirely on a voluntary basis, and are involved in emergency rescue/first response efforts.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications under Measure 3 is the 28th of April 2018. Application will not be considered after this date.
