Clár Funding Scheme 2017

Clár is a targeted investment programme for rural areas that aims to provide funding for small infrastructural projects in areas that experience disadvantage at Schools/Community Facilities. The following District Electoral Divisions (DED's) are eligible for funding: Ballymascanlon, Carlingford, Drummullagh, Greenore, Jenkinstown, Rathcor and Ravensdale.

Measure 1: Support for Schools/Community Safety Measures

Measure 2: Schools/Community Play Area

Measure 3: Targeted Community Infrastructure Needs

The Council wish to receive Expressions of Interest (EOI's), a one page proposal including costings, from Community Groups and local schools

Expression of interest (EOI) should be returned to Patrice Keenan, Clár 2017 Applications, Social & Community Section, Louth County Council, County Hall, Dundalk, Co Louth

Closing Date for receipt of EOI's is 4pm Thursday 20th April, 2017. EOI's will not be considered after this date.

Measure 4: First Response Support Measure (Eur 0.75m Nationally)

Applications under Measure 4 of the Clár Funding Scheme 2017 will be accepted directly by the Department from established organisations/groups that operate entirely on a voluntary basis and are involved in emergency rescue/first response efforts. The Department will disseminate information regarding this measure and will liaise directly with potential qualifying groups.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications under Measure 4 is the 5th May 2017.
