Part of the audited accounts of the Dundalk Estate, owned by the Earl of Roden, for the year 1886. This page shows the accounts of the farm, which turned a small profit for the year and gives details of the value of stock and crops.Louth County Archives, in addition to holding a large collection of Lord Roden's estate papers, is holding an exhibition about the history of the Roden estate in Dundalk. This exhibition will be in place at our headquarters in the Old Gaol, Ardee Road, Dundalk, until 30th September 2010 and is open from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm (closing for lunch 1-2pm)

Note which accompanied a survey returned to Major Ruxton of that part of his estate at Rahanna (near Ardee), which was let to Chichester Hamilton and contained 74 acres, 1 rood, and 15 perches October 1855.

Fox Brothers and company, manufacturers, 126-128-130 Lafayette street, New York, America, to S. Comerford, Honorary Treasurer, DunDealgan Fund. The letter originally enclosed a 10 dollar subscription to the Dun Dealgan museum.  Dated 27 April 1916.

Deed of conveyance of the Commissioners of Church Temporalities in Ireland (Diocese of Armagh, Benefice of Ardee) to Patrick Maguinness, farmer, of Ardee County Louth granting Maguinness a holding in the town of Ardee, barony of Ardee, county Louth, consisting of 33 perches statute measure for the sum of £25 sterling. Dated 6 October 1874

Publican’s certificate issued to Joseph Mulligan allowing him to sell beer, cider and spirits at New Street and Main Street, Carrickmacross.  Dated 10 October 1900. Macardle Moore &Co (Brewery) owned the public houses on these streets.
