Have your say about Migrant Integration Issues in Counties Louth and Meath
The population of Counties Louth and Meath have become more diverse over the last number of years. It is timely for both counties to focus on integration and inclusion of new communities and to consider what is needed to enable the areas to enjoy the benefits of diversity.
Effective integration requires on-going engagement by migrants, public services, businesses and communities. Communities play a crucial role in making those living within them feel at home.
Louth County Council and Meath County Council are developing a joint Migrant Integration Strategy for 2019-22 and would like to hear your views on the types of issues that need to be addressed in the area for example, accessing public services, finding a job, learning English, taking part in sports or arts activities or connecting with the local host communities in the area.
Three Public Meetings will be held in the following venues on the following dates.
