Louth County Council is seeking the information below from you to process your application under the Small Business Assistance Scheme. The lawful basis for processing this information is:
Article 6(1)(e) of the General Data Protection Regulation (the ”GDPR”)
The Data Controller within the meaning of data protection laws (the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018) is the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. Louth County Council is the Data Processor for the purpose of administering the Scheme.
The personal data you provide will be used for the purposes of submitting and processing your application for SBAS funding.
Certain high-level data will also be provided to the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. These data sets will include: the numbers of applications received, approved, paid and rejected, as well as the numbers of applications per economic sector, by county. These data are required for reporting and auditing purposes. As part of this process, the Louth County Council will also retain these data for a period of 5 years from the closing date of the Scheme. Your personal data may also be shared by us with third parties to meet our legal obligations (including audit requirements), applicable regulation or other lawful requests.
It is also important to note that information will be provided to the Revenue Commissioners by the Department and/or the relevant local authority via a secure file transfer mechanism. The purpose of this is to enable the Revenue Commissioners to confirm that you have not received a Covid Restrictions Support Scheme (CRSS) payment in 2021.
Finally, for spot-checks and auditing purposes, individual applications may also be examined.
By submitting your application, you understand that the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment and/or the relevant local authority will provide the details on this application form to the Revenue Commissioners via a secure file transfer mechanism. The purpose of this is to enable the Revenue Commissioners to confirm that you have not received a Covid Restrictions Support Scheme (CRSS) payment in 2021. In providing this information you also understand that this information will be shared by the Revenue Commissioners with the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment and/or the relevant local authority.
