Local Economic Community Plan

Section 66 of the Local Government Reform Act, 2014 provides that each Local Authority prepare a Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP) which will last for a six year period.  The Plan in its ethos provides integrated high level goals, with consequent objectives and actions being set out.

The Economic elements was adopted by the Economic Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) while the Community elements was adopted by the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC).  The overall integrated plan was adopted by Louth County Council on 21st March 2016.
