Louth County Council have established a Joint Policing Committee structure that reflects general structures in County Louth. Its functions are provided for in the An Garda Siochana Act, 2005 and the associated revised Strategy Guidelines that were published in 2014. The committees are as follows:-
A Community Safety Strategy, which is the Joint Policing Strategy, has been adopted by the JPC structure, as the Strategy to underpin the work of the Committee. See link below.
