Louth County Council Adopt 2013 Budget at Statutory Budget meeting

Louth County Council at their Statutory Budget meeting today Monday 17th December adopted their Budget for 2013.

The Budget provides for expenditure in excess of 66 million Euro. Commercial rates for the 4th year remain unchanged while there will be a 10% increase in commercial water charges which is still below the production costs borne by Council.

The Cathaoirleach Cllr. Finnan McCoy welcomed the adoption of the budget in these difficult and challenging economic times and he thanked the County Manager and her team for the preparation of the budget and he extended his gratitude to the Elected Members who supported the passing of the Budget.
