Death of Det. Garda Donohoe

The Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council Cllr Finnan Mc Coy together with the Chairmen of County Louth's Joint Policing Committees Cllr. Martin Bellew, Dundalk Cllr. Frank Maher, Drogheda and Cllr Padriag Mc Kenny, Ardee have joined with the County Manager Mrs. Joan Martin on behalf of the elected members and staff to extend their heartfelt sympathy to  Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe's wife, family and colleagues following his tragic lost his life while serving the Communities of County Louth.

Cllr. McCoy commented that the people of Louth and Ireland have woken up to a black day when a man who was carrying out his duty on behalf of us all is taken in such a cruel and callous way.

May he rest in peace.
