Louth Local Authorities Water Conservation Scheme - Watermain Rehabilitation

As part of the Louth Water Conservation Project Louth County Council on behalf of Irish Water are to implement rehabilitation works on priority water distribution mains in the Dundalk area. 

This will involve the laying of new Watermains and transfer of existing services onto the new watermain. Works will commence on 27th January 2014, and continue for a period of approx 30 weeks. 

Works will take place on the following roads and will continue for the duration of approx 4-8 weeks on each section. .

-        Armagh Road

-        Doylesfort Road

-        Ardee Road

-        Blackrock Road

-        Old Golf Links Road

-        Point Road

-        St Clements Park

Works will commence on 27th Jan 2014. First section of work to be carried will be Doylesfort Road. All affected properties will be notified via a letter drop in advance of works commencing on above roads and information on the progress of the works and relevant contact details can obtained via the following Face Book page

Traffic lights will be in place for the duration of the works which may result in some localised traffic disruption
