May Events:

The festival of Bealtaine is celebrated throughout the month of May, celebrating creativity in older age.

Nutrition and Well-Being Talk: Thur. May 5th @ 12.30pm. In conjunction with the Europe Direct Information Centre at Dundalk Library.

Spanish Language and Culture Classes: A four week course running each Thursday in May (5th, 12th, 19th & 26th) at 6pm-7.30pm. In conjunction with the Europe Direct Information Centre at Dundalk Library

Dundalk Memories, Music & Chat... A Morning with Harry Lee & Tony O'Kane: Friday, May 6th @ 11am.

Europe Day Radio Outside Broadcast with Dundalk FM: Tuesday, May 10th, 10am-12pm. In conjunction with the Europe Direct Information Centre at Dundalk Library.

Dundalk's Grumpy Old Men... Chat & Craic: Tuesday, May 10th @ 6.30pm.

European Myths & Fables: Wednesday, May 11th (for invited classes).

European Art History Workshop: Tuesday, May 17th @11am.

Interview Skills Workshop: Wed. May 18th at 3pm. Aimed at students and job seekers. In conjunction with the Europe Direct Information Centre at Dundalk Library.

National Drawing Day - Introduction to Drawing Skills: Sat. May 21st at 3pm. Suitable for 8-12 year olds. Bring along, paper, pencil and rubber.

 

June Events:

4 Week Art History Course: Begins Tuesday, June 7th @ 11am for 4 consecutive Tuesday's. Places are limited so please book at issue desk. In conjunction with the Europe Direct Information Service.

Artisan's Art Exhibition: Thursday, June 9th - June 18th.

Beginner's iPad/Tablet Course: Begins Friday, June 10th @10am for 6 consecutive Friday's. Bring along your mobile device. Places are limited so please book at issue desk.

Launch of Summer Reading Programme 'Summer Stars': Wednesday, June 15th (for invited classes).

English Language Classes for non-English speakers: Next 10 week course begins Tues. April 5th 2016 at 6pm.

Irish Language Group: Resuming January 4th 2016. Intermediate level - Every Tuesday at 4pm. Beginners - Every Wednesday at 4pm.

Georgie Porgie Tots Corner, Parent & Toddler Group: Every Thursday @ 10am.

Europe Direct Centre – Dundalk Library is a Europe Direct Centre and provides information on issues related to the European Union including EU Publications and general queries about the role of the EU. Adult Book Clubs – Rediscover the joy of reading and discuss your views with others. Please ask at desk for details

WiFi Access is available to current Library members. Renew your Library membership today and avail of free WiFi in Dundalk, Drogheda and Ardee Libraries as well as several hot spots in Dundalk Town Centre. Ask at issue desk for registration details and PIN no.

Drogheda Senior Citizens Interest Group Information morning: Fri. May 27th, 10am-1pm. In conjunction with the Bealtaine Festival.
