Georgie Porgie Tots Corner, Parent & Toddler Group: Every Thursday @ 10am.

Europe Direct Centre – Dundalk Library is a Europe Direct Centre and provides information on issues related to the European Union including EU Publications and general queries about the role of the EU. WiFi Access is available to current Library members. Renew your Library membership today and avail of free WiFi in Dundalk, Drogheda and Ardee Libraries as well as several hot spots in Dundalk Town Centre. Ask at issue desk for registration details and PIN no.

October Events

Summer Stars Medals & Certificates Presentation: Saturday Oct. 1st @ 11.30am. All children who took part in this year’s summer stars reading programme are invited along to collect their certificate and medal at Drogheda Library.

Europe Direct Soapbox Competition; "The EU: United in Diversity" chaired by MEP Mairead McGuinness on Thursday Oct. 13th @ 6.30pm. Application forms can be collected from Drogheda Library. Entry is open to all and contestants can compete in one of two categories; 1) 18 & Under or 2) 19 & Over. Each contestant must present a three-minute speech for or against the topic "The EU: United in Diversity" before a public audience and a panel of judges with a winner being selected from each category on the day. Both winners will qualify for the grand final in The National Concert Hall, Dublin on the 8th of November.

'Leaders of the 1916 Rising', an exhibition of charcoal drawings by Carol Wallace. The exhibition will be launched by Councillor Dolores Minogue on September 15th @ 6.30pm. The exhibition will run for 4 weeks.
