All You Need to Know About Spain: Culture, Language, Travel & Working in Spain: 4 week course begins Tues. April 28th @ 6pm. This course is free but places are strictly limited so please book at issue desk. In conjunction with the Europe Direct Information Centre Dundalk. May Events:

Bealtaine Events- Celebrating Creativity As We Age

Healthy Ageing Workshop: Thur. May 7th @ 11am. This will feature a talk by a local physiotherapist on health in older age. A local pharmaciist will also be on site offering advice on nutrition and supplements along with free blood pressure testing etc.

Eating and Cooking for Cancer: Fri., May 8th @ 11am. If you are interested in 'eating the right diet for your cancer' this is the workshop for you. It will cover changing your diet from acid to alkaline; benefits of juicing; benefits of wheatgrass and how to grow your own; using herbs and spices in healing; going sugar free.

The Reality of Retirement in Co. Louth: Wed. May 13th @ 11am. A reminiscence workshop with Harry Lee about the realities of retirement in Co. Louth... good and bad.

 

Town Talk with Dundalk FM, Outside Broadcast: Thur. May 7th to celebrate Europe Day.

Irish Conversation Group: Beginning Tues. May 12th @ 4pm for 13-17 year olds. And Wed. May 13th @ 4pm for adults. Please leave name at issue desk.

Business to Consumer Expo: Fri. May 15th @ 10am-5pm. Marshes Shopping Centre. Meet the team from the Europe Direct Information Centre at Dundalk Library at our stand.

Adult Book Clubs – Rediscover the joy of reading and discuss your views with others. A monthly book Club meets in Dundalk Library the first Tuesday of every month at 6.30 pm. And another the first Thursday of the month at 11.00 am.

WiFi Access is available to current Library members. Renew your Library membership today and avail of free WiFi in Dundalk, Drogheda and Ardee Libraries as well as several hot spots in Dundalk Town Centre. Ask at issue desk for registration details and PIN no.

St. Patrick's Day Parades in Drogheda: Photographic Display by Jimmy Weldon running until end of April.

Easter Arts & Crafts: Thurs. April 2nd @ 10.30am. Suitable for ages 6+. Booking essential.

Bunny Storytime: Wed. April 8th @ 3.30pm.

Easter Biodiversity Workshop: Thur. April 9th @ 10.30am. Meet the Rediscovery Centre and find out about the animals associated with Spring and Easter in Ireland. The workshop explores habitats and ecosystems, food chains and how animals are adapted to different habitats, with emphasis on camouflage. Human impact on biodiversity is discussed to show how we can make changes to ensure the sustainability of our environment and its biodiversity. Hands-on activities include an egg hunt for camouflaged eggs and investigating animal life cycles.Suitable for ages 6-12 years. Booking essential.In conjunction with the Europe Direct Information Centre Dundalk.

'Look At Our Country With New Eyes': Sat. May 9th @ 10am. A mixed media and craft workshop. Participants will experiment with paint and mixed media and craft a creative map on canvas. Call on ideas, memories, moments in time, places you've been.
