Easter Biodiversity Workshop: Thur. April 9th @ 10.30am. Meet the Rediscovery Centre and find out about the animals associated with Spring and Easter in Ireland. The workshop explores habitats and ecosystems, food chains and how animals are adapted to different habitats, with emphasis on camouflage. Human impact on biodiversity is discussed to show how we can make changes to ensure the sustainability of our environment and its biodiversity. Hands-on activities include an egg hunt for camouflaged eggs and investigating animal life cycles.Suitable for ages 6-12 years.
