Private Rented Sector

The Private Rented Sector is a pivotal provider of Housing.  In many cases it satisfies both the needs of landlord and tenant.

Both landlord and tenant should however be aware of the following requirements:-

1. Standards for Rented Dwellings
2. Registration of the tenancy with the Private Residential Tenancies Board www.prtb.ie
3. Requirement for the provision of a rent book
4. If property is a non-principle residence of a landlord it must be registered at www.npr.ie
