Louth Tourism Conference 2012
Louth Local Authorities in association with Eures Cross Border Partnership and Dundalk & Drogheda Chambers of Commerce held major conference entitled "What it takes to succeed in the Tourism Sector" in March 2012. Over 240 deligates from all over Ireland attended to hear presentations form high profile national and international expert speakers.

Holiday World Show 2012
Louths new tourism brand "Louth - Land of Legends...and Full of Life" and website www.louthholidays.com were officially launched by Michael Ring TD, Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism & Sport at the Holiday World Show in the RDS Simmonscourt on 27th January 2012.

American Embassy Visit 2012
Dundalk Chamber hosted another very successful Embassy visit when The American Commercial Counselor, Mr Stephen J. Anderson, came to Dundalk to meet local companies in order to forge business links. Mr Anderson said, “Twelve meetings in eight hours--your Chamber members showed me much of their focus, drive and business strengths. The US Embassy and our US & Foreign Commercial Service team look forward to working with Dundalk-based business in the future.”

New Company Probiotec
Attending the official opening of new company Probiotec, an Australian healthcare firm which has based its EU manufacturing HQ in Dundalk.

Public Procurement Seminar 2011
The Business Support Unit of Louth Local Authorities held two Seminars on Public Procurement in September 2011. The Seminars gave an insight into the Public Procurement Process and outlined the process itself together with the various compliance requirements.
